The Challenge
VitaLink Health needed a unified telehealth experience across iOS, Android, and web that could integrate with 12 different EHR systems — each with its own data format, auth model, and compliance requirements.
Our Approach
We built a cross-platform React Native application with a shared FHIR-compliant data layer that normalizes data across EHR systems. WebRTC handles encrypted video consultations with adaptive bitrate for rural connectivity.
The Solution
The platform reduced patient no-show rates by 67% and achieved a 4.8-star App Store rating. The FHIR integration layer now serves as VitaLink's standard API for all new hospital onboarding.
